Summer is finally here!

I go out a lot but I hardly ever take any photos! I bring my camera with me, but I end up having so much fun that I forget or can't be bothered to take photos. Meow.
I'm using the new blogspot interface thingy-ma-bob, so that's why my photos have captions boxed underneath them. This update is awesome! Why didn't I convert my blog earlier?! I'm always scared of changing things because of fear that I can't revert back. Anyway, my friends and I went thrifting last week and I scored some more awesome items. My room has shitty lighting so that's why my photos look like they were taken from my phone.

Chopped the sleeves off because it works better as a tank.

I'm not sure if this is meant to be a dress or a shirt. It's a bit long to be a shirt and too sheer to be a dress.

I checked the weather on Saturday, and it said that Sunday was going to be super hot, so I rounded up a few friends to go to Bondi. I wanted to make the most of the day because it has been really gloomy in Sydney lately. It's been cold and raining nearly everyday here! What a lame Summer aye? Oh, and I wanted to go to the beach to tan my body. Lols.

Sunday was a really beautiful day. The sky was mad blue and the water was cool (and salty!). Usually I go to the beach to tan. I don't like to get wet because salt water makes my hair all knotty. This time I didn't care! I floated and doggy paddled far away from shore with Jeno. We nearly got knocked out by boogie boarders on a few occasions! Annoying kids!

I haven't shopped in a long long time. I shop online, but that doesn't really count because I'm just sitting at the computer. Last week I finally went shopping + thrifting! I went shopping and thrifting on Tuesday with Sophie, and shopping again with Sophie and Jeno on Thursday night. I didn't buy much, but it made me remember how much I love to shop. Besides not shopping in a long time, I haven't blogged in weeks! I didn't even make a new years post. You know, how people list things that they want to achieve this year and blah? My goals are them typical ones like, pass every subject, eat more veggies/fruits, get a stable job, sleep early... You don't want to read the rest. I mean, I bet you can guess the rest because it's that duhhh. Moving on, here's what I ended up buying on my two-day spree. Like I said, it's not a lot!

Gifts from Asia

Mary came back from her trip to Thailand and Vietnam bearing gifts for all!!! So many of my friends traveled overseas this holiday, and I'm stuck in Australia with the Kangaroos and Koalas (I kid). Maybe one day when I'm rich like them I can afford to go somewhere cool. I'd love to visit the states and Japan.

1. I prefer dogs over cats even though my blog oozes cats! I just like how cats look, like I think they are cute and stuff, but I prefer to have a BIG doggie as a pet.

2. I hate hate HATE carrots! (sorry Bunny!) I can only eat them when they are in them Asian dishes all sliced up and drowned in vinegar! And that's only cos I can't taste the carrots!

3. I love reading and watching scary things. Anything that has anything to do with cannibalism and a zombie apocalypse is awesome! I seriously watch zombie movies alone.

4. I like to keep my nails long cos I have stubby azz fingers. They are so short!

5. I love Modern Talking!!! I find the lead singer crazy handsome and he rocked with long hair!

6. I speak Vietglish at home. I mix Vietnamese with English because it makes it easier to explain things to my parents. I can read every Viet word, just I don't understand all of them. =="

7. I've seen so many anime I've lost count. I use to keep a list but I lost it! My favourite animes include Full Metal Alchemist, Inuyasha, Claymore, Full Moon, and D.Gray Man. I like Bleach, Naruto and Fairy Tail too, but they drag on too long for me.

8. I have a beanie collection. I especially like beanies with big pom poms!

9. I eat really little! I can never finish a whole meal and it makes me feel bad...

10. I cut and dye my own hair cos I hate going to the salon. The last time I went was back in grade 9! I hated it because the ladies there talked too much. They told me that I have dead hair. FYI, hair when it grows from your scalp is dead cells. So everyone has dead hair.

11. I like to give random hugs. I hug my friends and family and they think it's awkward but I don't care. It reminds them how much I love them! Aha!

A blast from the past

My friend Vicky had a 1920s themed party for her birthday last Friday. She chose the theme because she is 19 going on 20, get it?! Gosh, what a smarty pants! I googled up flappers to get some ideas on how to do my hair, and it seemed that every girl in that era had short hair! My hair is long so I had a difficult time pinning everything up. I had to practice a few days before the party to get it right. And finally... VOILA!

Where her party was held. The house looked really dated which was perfect for the theme!

This is what I wore! I ditched my cigarette stick soon after cos it broke.I made some new frands! And they were happy to take photos with me in the garden.

Dinner was good too! In my last post I said that soon I will be at dinners sipping on wine, and whaddaya know?! One week later I'm at a dinner sipping red wine and dressed all lady-like.

Jeno went to Japan a week ago and she came back with lots and LOTS of goodies for us! I didn't expect so much!!! She likes to spoil us. Thank you Jenoooo! Okay less writing, more pictures!

She got me this tea cup as a side present for looking after her guinea pig. Remember Pepper from my recent post? Yaps, I had to look after her for 10 days. She poops and pees A LOT!

I ordered the Coastal Scent Warm 88 palette not too long ago with Alice, and here it is! I used it for the Vicky's party btw, you can't really see, but I used peachy shades.

I bought the warm palette cos I don't like to go way out of my comfort zone when it comes to make up. I don't like to pack it on, I like to look natural but at the same time not too bare. I hope that makes sense! Anyway, this palette is awesome! I love the colors! Just the pan for each shade is so small! Oh well, I reckon it'll last me a life time. I just need to stock up on some eye shadow brushes now zzz.

Karina's 18th and Blogger Secret Santa

My friend Karina finally turned 18 on Friday, so we all went to Crinitis to celebrate. It's about time! She can finally do adult stuff legally! We've all been waiting for her to age, luls. Check out the happy birthday girl with her handsome hubby. Nawws, we're all young adults now! Soon we're going to do adult things like... Drinking wine and acting pish posh at dinners.This is Kim ↓ She warned me not to post this photo up on Facebook, and I didn't, but it's going on my blog darling! HAHA! It's okay, I doubt she will see this. Not many of my friends IRL tune into my blog anyway.
Above ↑ is Kim's older sister, Helen, and that's her boyfriend. All these happy couples make me want to vomit rainbows. Forever alone.
We got real hungry waiting for the others so we ordered a meter long pizza and some pasta dishes. The other's came soon after so we all shared our food and got to try a bit of everything. After dinner was dessert! The cake was yummalicious! It had rose petals sprinkled on top. I didn't know that it was edible, but it it went well with the strawberries and watermelon. The cake was really sweet, fragrant and fruity. Cake god!

That night I slept in the city with a few others. That's the end of Day 1.
Day 2, we woke up at around 3PM and walked to China town for breakfast. I was feeling sick so I didn't eat much. Kim and Helen's bf wanted alcohol so we bought some and went back to the hotel to drink. River came at around 7PM to join the party, and we all got dressed to go clubbangz.

Blogger Secret Santa (kris kringle)
Melludee and QuestJen created a blogger secret Santa event not too long ago, and I entered cos it looked like fun. Same rules applied for secret Santa, just you had to be living in Australia and there was a budget of min $10 and max $20 to spend on your randomly picked blogger. I just sent my KK package out today, and came home to my own package! The person that got me sent my present super early! I wont reveal who got me until the end, hehehe.

I was so sure you went over the budget but in the letter you said you didn't, and I believe joo. *phew* And thank you for sending the package early! I feel kinda bad now for sending mine TODAY. Hopefully my KK gets her present before Christmas!

This Saturday I have another birthday to go to. Oh my lordy lord! This time it is a themed party, so we all have to dress up in 1920s gear. Time to throw on the pearls and feathery head bands! Oh, and I got my Coastal Scent Warm 88 eye shadow palette of Alice. I shall blog about all of that later!

Jeno's 20th

Last Sunday was Jeno's birthday at Wattamolla. I was sooo excited to go to the beach, but the weather made it nearly impossible to swim. Brought my swimmers just to dip my toes into the water. How lame! In the morning the sky was clear and blue, and then BAM! When we got there it started to pour. Booooooo.
Okay, so I made it look more dramatic by drawing rain drops. But it was raining! The umbrellas in the picture kinda reminded me of Totoro. See?
We had fun anyway, and even made a new friend. Meet our mate the Kookaburra (native Aussie bird)! It came and watched us when we were eating. It was full posing for photos too! SO CUTE!

Jeno's family had dinner plans, so she trusted us to look after their house. What did we do when they left? We (got permission and) went onto her brother's computer to go on Chatroulette. See the guy on the right? He was pissed off at us for taking photos of him. Sorry! And dw dude, you're just guest appearing on my blog.
Check out our convo at the bottom with some random. He was so emo! We got bored of Chatroulette fast because majority of the people on there wanted something we refused to give. *Sigh* So, we went back to my place to eat and take photos. I love my canopy! It made our photos look a little spooky!

My velvet choker came in the mail a while ago but I didn't get the chance to blog about it. I was waiting for my velvet leggings to come so that I could be the ultimate velvet princesssss! Haha ¬.¬ I'm starting to get into velvet... It's just really different. I like different.
I haven't worn a choker since my primary school days! I remember I had a friendship one with a monkey on it that said "friend". My besties at the time had "best" and "forever". Anyway, today is a beautiful sunny day so I figured I'll post something.

Mary and Viet's 20th

My friends had a joint birthday at Meriton on Sunday, and it went OFF! I'm seriously still dead from that party. Here's a video I recorded of our apartment before the party. The view at Meriton's was seriously awesome! We were on the 66th floor and could see everything!

Overall a fun night, just I lost my bloody phone and now I am suffering from withdrawal. Every time I want to check twitter, I'd reach over to my side table and my phone isn't there. FMD so sad... I can't live without a phone. I still don't know where it is, and I'm sure someone does. I mean a phone can't just disappear and when called mysteriously goes straight to voice mail. It had 50% battery life when I last checked. Oh well, I've barred it and changed all my passwords (email/twitter/tumblr/facebook) cos I was signed into all the apps :(

● Discovering that my phone went missing.
● An kicking me in the face, I chucked an agro and died in the bathroom.

● Sophie the sober one snapping photos at every opportunity, lol.
● Waking up feeling cold because someone took our blanket, and left Jeno and I sleeping with thin az bed sheets. Not cool.

New blog layout and everything!

Howdy-ho bloggers!
Just a quick post before I head out! I've mentioned a few times that I didn't like the way my blog looked. This was how it looked like before: I don't know, I liked it at first but I grew bored of it so I switched over to the new layout. It's surprisingly easier to use than the classic layout! Why didn't I do this earlier! Everything is already in place and I just needed to fix some things up. I got rid of the lame tag box on the side too cos people kept spamming it to advertise their site. Meow. I love the way my blog looks now! As you can see, I stuck with the cat theme, did a similar pose and made a new banner! The cat took me 5 minutes to draw. Butt easy! I kinda based my banner off this picture I found on tumblr -
Isn't it cute?! I love how there's a cartoon ghosting the girl and copying her pose. I hope you guys like the new look! That's our back house in my banner btw. My dad and his friend built it last year :D It's not easy to take self shots! I really hate how my camera only has a 10 second timer, which means I gotta set it and hurry to pose. I took a few luvos after taking photos for my banner, hehe.

My hair screams Hermione when I unravel my french braid! Oh, and I am loving my wine stockings! So devo that I tore a hole in them!!!!

Going to head out soon with my family friends. We're going to some karaoke bar~ Then tomollo I'm going shopping with my girls. I really need a pair of plain black wedges!

Sydney Kpop Concert

We planned to leave early for the concert because there were stalls set up and we wanted to buy merchandise, but yeah we ended up coming late. My friend lost his phone at the train station, and it was hectic mission to get it back lol. Note to self, do not carry phones in plastic bags! Lucky someone nice handed it in to the guard.

First impression when I got there? Lots and lots of Asians! There wasn't a lot of cool stuff on sale. I was like... Where are the shirts? Posters? CDs? FREEBIES?! We did however, score cheap light/glow sticks, balloons and postcards. There was a big screen outside the stadium playing MVs from various artists. We stood there watching the MVs until the gates opened.

When we got to our seats, it was super sunny even though there was a shelter above us. We went outside to buy chips and then illegally snuck from bronze to silver seating for a better view. I swear, everyone in bronze moved to silver, and apparently those in gold moved to bronze/silver! My friend from gold said that he couldn't see because of people standing up. zzZ

I enjoyed all the performances and had fun squealing over pretty boys and girls. Miss A, Sistar and Kara were really good! Highlights for me were performances from B2ST, C.N. BLUE and DBSK. B2ST got everyone waving their light sticks because their songs are poppy and catchy. The laser lights made the performance waaay cool! C.N. Blue had to be the best band performance I've seen in my life! I've seen live bands before, but nothing compared to how well these boys performed! And DBSK was cool because Yuhno was there (swoons), and Changmin hit really high notes. I was amazed at how awesome his vocals were! Just wow!

DBSK were the last to perform (gotta save the best for last!). I was full happy in my seat when they stopped between their songs to talk. My friend linked me a quality vid of their performance that night. I'm glad they sang this song ~

I am for real on holidays now cos my final exam was yesterday! Wooooo! I'm super psyched because there is so much planned this break! I've got 3 birthdays coming - 2 hotel parties (yay, sleepover!), a beach party and a 1920s themed party! And then there are plans for Christmas and New Years too of course. OH MA GAAAD!
Oh, and I'm working on a new banner and all that. Not happy with how my blog looks atm. I would changed the layout, but I'm happy with it. Also, I'm not pro at codes so I don't wanna screw things up! It's 1:30am btw, and I am bored as hell. Time to tweet and tumblr!

I have some exciting news for you guys!
As most of you already know, there will be a BIG Kpop concert tomorrow at the Sydney ANZ stadium, and I am goingggggg!!!
I wasn't keen on going at first because the tickets are expensive and Big Bang wasn't coming, but at the last minute, I bought tickets because my friends convinced me to go. Looking at the line up now, I actually know majority of the groups performing! Actually... I know them all, lols.

The line up includes DBSK, SNSD, Shinee, Sistar, Secret, Miss A, MBLAQ, Kara, CN Blue, B2ST, 4 Minute and 2Am O___O That's a lot of Kpop stars!
Who am I looking forward to seeing the most?! U-Know Yunho from DBSK!!!! I freaking have a huge crush on him! I was going to buy a light stick with his name on it, but it's too late to order now. OMGGGGGG I am seriously psyched for tomorrow!!!!

Bed Canopy
My dad finally helped me hang my canopy up! Every time I asked him to drill the hole, he'd be sleeping or "busy". It was kinda hard to find the exact center of the bed to drill, so my dad kinda estimated -_- Oh well! It looks centered to me!

My hair isn't this light and ashy btw, it's actually brassy yellow. My iPhone camera toned it down!I need new NEUTRAL colored covers. Pink makes me look like a princess.What it looks like when I get in bed.

People have asked if it's scary to sleep with the canopy, and the answer is no. I love it! It's like sleeping under the invisibility cloak, you feel safe, not scared.
Done with pencil and water color. I use to draw elves back in high school a lot.

Unofficially back + DIY shirt

I'm suppose to start on my assignment right now but I don't feel like it so I'll blog instead - It's due on Friday so there's plenty of time. I think I'll keep my banner and background for longer because I can't be bothered to make a new one.
A lot has happened over the past few weeks. I've been going out when I'm suppose to study, and my sense in fashion has kinda changed. I never thought I'd ever be into the color black, spikey studs, chokers and other punk things but tumblr influenced me! My love for zombies has grown and now I am loving the I-come-from-the-dark-side look. I still love wearing neutral colors! I dress according to my mood. If I feel happy, I'll throw on a floral dress and some wedges, and if I feel dead I'll wear boyfriend jeans and a crop top.

● I went to two job interviews and they were both unprofessional. Don't really want to go deep into it.
● I visited the graveyard with my friends (3-5am). It was scary at first because you're surrounded by the dead, but after a while it just feels like you're walking through a botanic garden. Maintenance did a great job keeping the place pretty! There was fog and everything when we visited, it was totes the perfect setting for a horror movie! I wanted to take photos but my friend told me not to because I might capture a ghost or something. It was an interesting night, I wouldn't mind going back there to explore.
● I went to the gym for the first time like EVER! It wasn't as bad as I made it out to be. I imagined myself sweating like bacon. I like the treadmill because it doesn't require much effort - walking on the spot.

● Online stuff I ordered came in the mail - large dream catcher, water color paint, bikini set, spike tights, wooden cross, and a brown hat.

DIY: Iron on tee

I bought iron-on transfer paper to design my own shirts. I might draw something and yeah iron it on to my shirt ~ I gotta buy more plain shirts though. This was just a test to see how it'll turn out, and how good the quality of the bond paper is. I expected it to be good cos it was quite costly!

Dolly Wink + Melody's Gift

I bought the Dolly Wink liquid liner (in deep black) from Jennifer (sojjeje.com) because she changed her mind after buying it. I've mentioned Tsubasa Masuwaka on my blog a few times, she's my style icon so I'm glad to own a product that she helped produce.
First thing I did when I got it was test how "permanent" it is. Apparently it is hard to rub off, but comes off easily with warm water. I drew a thin line on my hand and rubbed it viciously. It took some effort to blur the line, so I was pretty pleased. Then I got a cotton ball, wet it with warm water and wiped over it, and it came off easily. Yayayay!

Dear readers,
So I kinda lied when I said I'll be updating more frequently. Sorry! I've been mega lazy to blog lately! I want to blog a lot and keep up with it so that I can look back later, but for some reason I'm getting bored of blogging. I was talking to my friends about it too. Dw, I wont quit or anything! Of course not! Just right now, I feel like taking a break. My blog feeds don't even show up on people's dashboards... Kinda sucks. Oh well! If people stumble across my blog then cool! If not then that's cool too. I use to care about the number of comments and followers I get, but now it's like what ever. I don't want to blog for comments and followers. I want to just... Blog!!! I was going to disable comments and get rid of the side tag board, but then not everybody uses twitter and facebook so I guess I'll just leave my blog the way it is. People can comment if my posts interests them, or choose not to. It's not like I'll stop blogging if I have zero comments or lose followers.
I wont say when I will update again. Maybe tomorrow or in a month's time? I don't know. I'll be spontaneous and post whenever the hell I want, hehe. Oh, and I might change the way it looks later. Already I am bored with the banner and background!

DEFQON.1 2011

As mentioned in my last post, on Saturday my friends and I went to Defqon. The weather that day was scorching hot, perfect to sport a crop top and a pair of short-shorts. You could of pretty much rocked up in your undergarments and no-one would of said anything. Everyone lathered on dollops of sunscreen and drank a lot of water that day.
We got there pretty early - 10am, which was an hour before the gates even opened! I was surprised to see people camping around when we came. Such dedication! In a way I'm glad we came early because we were at the front of the line, which meant we didn't have to wait in the sun long.

The first thing we did when we got in was buy tokens (since the venues there wont accept cash). And then the girls and I split up from the rest of the group to go exploring.

People were dressed in funky costumes and some had the most bizarre hairdos. I remember seeing a few guys with the Defqon symbol shaved on the side of their heads.

There were 8 stages set up this year. All stages were made from recycled things, something to do with Defqon's psychedelic "wasteland" theme. And they were color coordinated to make it easier for people to find where their fav music genre is pumping. We visited all the colors ~

At the end of the day my legs were beyond gone from standing for so long! And I kept coughing because my poor lungs had to filter so much dust and cigarette smoke! Grrr to inconsiderate smokers! It took me 3 whole days to recover from that day. I skipped uni on Monday because I couldn't even stand up! I was literally crawling around the house. Woof woof!
Overall, Defqon was the highlight for me this year. I don't think anything else can top 2011 for me!!!!!!

Can't wait for 2012!!!

Ash blonde hair + Anthony's 20th

Ash blonde hair
Delena came over to help me color my hair last Monday. Once again, I had to use two boxes because I have long hair. It took about 45mins to develop and yeah, the color came out a light brown. After a few washes it faded and it's now more ash blonde than ash brown. I'm really happy with the color! No more fugly yellow hair!!! I was getting bullied because of how unnatural it looked.
I also highlighted Delena's hair on the same day. I had to do it two times before it actually turned out right! Now Delena looks like a sunflower seed, aww. Bunny requested that I curl my hair. Here's a couple of photos just for joo!

Anthony's 20th
Last Saturday we went to CEO karaoke bar to celebrate Anthony's birthday. It was one longgg night! I was really sick (sore throat and all) so I couldn't participate in karaoke. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't because Anthony kept hogging the microphone, lols. By the end of the night everyone was pretty out. The drinks kept coming and people kept drinking = many trips to the loo. It was funny seeing how drunk people act - singing here and sleeping there! Sophie and I had many photo requests because we were the only ones who bought along a camera. Everyone was really loud and rowdy! I remember the security guard coming in to tell the guys off for standing on sofas(?) and smoking ¬.¬ When the cake came out, hardly anyone ate! I managed to savor a slice hehe. Overall the night was pretty hectic. I enjoyed myself, even though I broke my thumb nail.

Online and Opped + DIY: frayed studded shorts

Online and Opped
It's been a while since I've shopped online, so I decided to buy a few things just because I miss receiving packages. I bought two bows on ebay, one Gossip Girl inspired and the other is a normal bow (luls). I made a GG inspired bow once, but it kinda failed. Might as well buy one since they don't cost much. The seller was really sweet because she combined shipping for me. You can buy the bows {here}.The other thing I bought online is a leather belt from ASOS. I've been looking to buy a leather belt so that I can knot it when I wear it (refer to second image below). I reckon they'll suit boyfriend jeans and high-waisted skirts really well. And I opped a buncha stuff with my friends - Sophie and Ryan. I was getting sick of my Morning-Glory-gift-shop bedroom, so I cleaned out unwanted things and bought frames to decorate my room. Loving the frames! I need to collect more to nail them on my wall (dad's not going to like this). I also bought a few collared tops, and a travel bag.DIY: frayed and studded shorts
I was ebaying around and I came across some really neat studded shorts. This is the image that inspired me to stud my own shorts. Aren't they just... awesome?! *tearI started to google some more studded designs before purchasing studs. I bought a pack of 100 bronze studs in 9mm. I knew that I wanted to stud a cross at the front, but I didn't know what to stud at the back. I talked to Sophie about studding my shorts, and she suggested that I do half of the inside of my back pocket, and leave the flap hanging. And so, I made a tutorial for those interested in fraying and studding their denim shorts! You guys can click to enlarge the images and save them as a guide.

We browsed Parra for a presents for our daddies. We spent hours looking but it was hard! Shopping for men is way harder than shopping for women. Finally we rocked into David Jones and my friend, being the perfume expert, recommended Hugo Boss. We sniffed a few bottles before deciding on which suits dad the most. After shopping for dad, I bought a ring and shorts. I couldn't help it! I just had to buy something for myself!

Was Father's day and Moon festival! Don't know why they decided to make Moon fest on Father's day. It's kinda dumb cos my mom said that it's on the wrong date and the moon isn't even "full". Me and my friends went to Parra (again) to do some shoppaaaang! I didn't get to browse properly on Saturday because I was busy looking for Dad's present. I left with 3 items:

Moon festival
After shopping, we got back to Cabra and boy it was packed. I haven't been to Moon festival in 2 years! So it brought back some memories. I remember getting creamed by randoms and walking around with a light saber. Apparently 10 000 people came on Sunday! We were lagging our way from stand to stand. We ate soooo much because we were trying everything, from balls of ice cream to vegetarian paper rolls!

First time trying this ice cream, and omg I absolutely love it!Got some kid to snap a photo for us in front of monster trucks!

I didn't want to go on any rides because I get motion sickness.

Father's day

Me and Sylvia surprised our dad on Sunday after Moon festival. We wanted to surprise him in bed (cos he was sleeping), but we were too rowdy outside, so he walked out to tell us to shoosh up and... SURPRIZE DADDY! HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! I gave him the perfume and shower gel set and a kiss on the cheek. He honestly looked happy, all grinning and stuff when he read my badly written Vietnamese message. (My mom helped me write the message hehe). He just said "good girl" and walked back into his room. Dad is boss! ♥

Before you guys freak out, let me reassure you that I am only going to be blonde for a week max! Bleaching my hair is the first process to obtaining the color that I want. I have to stay blonde for a week to let my hair "rest" before chucking on the dye. I'm going to have to dye it twice as well! Man my hair is going to dye! - pun intended. Op Shopping

I always see bloggers post up entries about "thrifting", and finding vintage stuff at the markets. My friends and I decided to join the band wagon.
I went opping with Sophie and Mary on Wednesday. I had a dental appointment at 9:15am, so I told the girls to meet me there. Livo has 6 op shops (5 that I am aware of), and we were determined to go through all of them. In the end we went to 5, because we didn't know where number 6 was hiding ¬ . ¬ now we know...
Lets cut to the chase. Here's all the stuff I ended up getting!

It's weird, because whenever I go to Livo, I go straight to Westfields and don't bother to explore outside. This time it was different. We spent majority of the time outside and only went inside Westfields to eat at the food court! I'll show you guys what we ate. It was the most bizarre thing ever!
It looks like a dessert crepe, but it's actually a pizza rolled up. I was excited to try it, but was immediately disappointed when I bit into it. The pizza base was as hard as concrete! I pretty much just ate topping and got bloated from drinking taro bubble tea.

Sophie pointed out that the cups are made from corn. Lol, say whaaaa?
Anyway, opping turned out to be fun! We're thinking of going again sometime with the others.

Random hooded door bell raper
Can't think of a name for the dude, so hooded random will do.
Last night I was napping on the sofa bed. My dad comes home and kicks me off the sofa cos he wanted to sleep there (it's his favorite sleeping spot). We argue for a bit, I walk off into my bedroom pissed off. Before long, I was asleep and then I hear ding dong!
I opened my eyes and thought it was a dream. I probably dreamt the door bell going off. So I closed my eyes and tried to go back to sleep. The door bell sounded again. diiiiiing dongggg!
I was thinking who the fack would ring the door bell at midnight?!
Dad? He's always rocking home late and probably forgot to bring a spare set of keys. I walk halfway to the front door and realise... Hang on... Dad and I quarreled over the sofa a few hours ago. He should be asleep on the sofa, not ringing the door bell! dinggg dongg!
I tip-toed to the back room to check if my dad was there. And...? There he was sound asleep under the covers. So who the hell is ringing on our door bell?!
At that moment I was pretty pissed off. I mean, I was woken from my slumber and the bastard kept ringing the bell. I stomped to the front door and peered out to see who it was.
There, standing on our porch was a total stranger in a blue hoodie. He had a cell phone in one hand and his other hand was on our door bell jabbing at the button. I was going to open the door and tell the person to piss off, but I was now kinda scared. I mean... He could be up to no good. It was raining cows, and he had a hoodie covering his face!
What did I do to make him go away? I stood next to the door and shouted profanity!!!! I was like "SOME RANDOM IS RINGING THE F*CKING DOOR BELL, CAN SOMEONE SHUT EM UP?!"
I was surprised my mom didn't hear me shout. However my sister did, and she just asked Who is it? What is he wearing? Is it your friend? And I replied "I DON'T KNOW, BUT I'M NOT OPENING THE DOOR. SERIOUSLY. WHO THE F*CK?! WE'RE TRYING TO SLEEP!
My shouting worked, cos after a while the guy left. I stayed up the whole night with a rifle in one hand (jokes). I stayed up watching a Studio Ghibli movie and catching up on tv series.

End of story.

Grey Lenses

One long series name aye? I guess the manufacturers thought that adding more words will make the series more awesome. I just say GG Grey. ANYWAY!
I usually wear green or brown lenses because they look more natural. But yeah, I decided to go for something different. My mate was ordering lenses and we combined our orders. I bought 2 pairs, one in pink (review here), and the other in grey.

Color - 10/10

I love the color! It's noticeable in all lighting, and it's not too bold. The tri colors let the lens blend more with my brown eyes. It's kind of blue-ish grey in color, which really reminds me of a Husky's eyes! Aroooooo!~

These lens are 14.5mm in diameter, so yeah, they are big. But not crazy alien big! I think it's because there is no bold dark ring around the lens, which allows em blend more.

Comfort - 10/10
I think they are on the same comfort level as EOS lenses. You can wear them for long hours. Compared to my Geo lenses, they're way more comfy. I still wear Geo! They have pretty designs, keke.

Repurchase?
Heck yes!!!! They're now my favorite pair of circle lenses! I'll most definitely buy them again!

Belly Piercing + Pink Knit

Belly piercing!

As mentioned in my last post, on Saturday me and my girl franz went to get piercings. I was full shaking when we walked into the shop, because I heard negative things about naval piercings. But I wasn't going to let that stop me from getting what I want.

The shop assistant walked us over to the counter where I got to choose which stud I wanted. I just chose a plain white diamante one. Jeno went first because she only needed to re-pierce her ears. It was done pretty quickly! Same with Sophie's piercings. She got a triangle pierced on one ear and one piercing on the other ear.

The gun that they used to pierce the girls' ears reminded me of the time I got my ears pierced. I was so stupid back then, because after getting my ears pierced, I started to rub them like a mad cow. No I did not cry! I was just shaky and still suffering from after shock.

After getting our piercings, we went to Livo to do some shoppang! I bought this pink knit from mink. Hehe pink mink rhymes. I've been looking for a light pink knit for a while so I was pretty happy with my purchase. I feel so girly when I wear it! Come on Barbie, lets go party!Next week is back to uni for me. Dinner at Wagaya
Friday 8th of July, I went to Wagaya for dinner with a few friends. I didn't bring my camera that night (totally forgot), so these photos are from Sophie and Chris' facebook albums! ¬ - ¬

Bounce

After dinner, we met up with the rest of the crew at Bounce @ Slide bar (monthly Korean club, plays kpop and all). Bounce had a lame sauce dress code, red and blue! Ew aye?! Who wants to wear red and blue to the club. So we rocked up in whatever. It's not like they'd kick us out lol.

We stayed til 11pm before heading off to Perfect @ Pontoon bar. Since we didn't stay long enough at Bounce, we didn't really get to experience it fully. But those that stayed til the end said that it was fun! I'll take their word for it hehe. Perfect was good too, it was my first time there so yeah. Oh, and it was my first time at Bounce too == No photos from Perfect cos no one bothered to take any. Here's some from Bounce though!

Jenny's 19th!
Sunday 17th of July, it was back to Wagaya for Jenny's 19th dinner! Me and Sophie went shopping before meeting up with everyone, to buy Jenny her present. Afterward we ate out because we were hungry -_- There was like an hour left until the others came, so we bummed at Woolies lolol. Even though me and Sophie already ate beforehand, we still pigged out with Ryan, Mary and Carissa at Wagaya. Ordered a bunch of shiz and just shared it amongst each other. Photos below were taken from Jeno's facebook album. Yeah once again I forgot to bring my camera!

We then made our way to Noritas to play Pictionary. I swear we love that game! Always go there for the dessert and Pictionary. Once again, we divided the group into two teams - Bisexuals vs Lesbians. Lesbians won again. Cheers to us girls!
The fun wasn't over! We went to Jenny's place to play some more card/board games. We played Mafia a jillion times, and Taboo until four in the morning! I went home, but the rest went to Chris' house to continue playing Mafia and other card games. Insaaaane!

Perfect girl's night out!

Friday 15th of July, we decided to have a girls night out.
I called out Helen to join us at the club. Perfect was having this pink ladies theme thing going on, so we figured we'd go there. First thing we did? Bought a small bottle of Vodka and finished it.
They sure stuck to the whole pink theme. When I walked in, there was pink lights, pink cupcakes and roses. And there was two half naked guys standing there offering me a cupcake. Lololol

The night was a roller coaster! The first half was crazy fun, and then the second half kinda ruined everyone's mood. I wont say what happened, but it was yeah... Meow
Guess what? This time I remembered to bring my camera! Hooruh!

P.S. Tomorrow, Sophie and Jeno are going to come with me to get pierced! The girls are going to get their lobes done, and I am going to finally get my belly done. OMGOMGOMG so excited! I've been wanting one since forever!

Meeting more Aussie blog friends!

Amanda and Bunny came from across Australia to Sydney for their holiday. So, Tezza and I met up with the lovely ladies at the city to have brunch, and shop! Once again, we showed off our tour guiding skills. We were meant to eat at a restaurant near Chinatown (forgot the name! ==) but yeah it wasn't open yet, so we ditched the place and ended up eating at Pepper Lunch. After eating, we walked to Paddy's Market/Market City to do some shopping. Tezza had to leave really early for work, and I was left to guide solo!
Today turned out to be a fun day! I was all gloomy when I woke up because of lack of sleep, but I had fun getting to know my blog friends more. Bunny said something really funny:

"It's different to seeing you guys on Blogspot, because I only see your photos, and now you are moving."

Yes, we are REAL people! It's true what she said, it was different actually seeing and talking to my blog friends in reality. I'm so use to just seeing them on the computer screen ahaha! I didn't take many photos because I was busy recording everything down! I hope you guys enjoy the video ~

Before meeting Amanda and Bunny, I was nervous. But we all clicked really well, it felt natural just like when me and Tezza met Tam {link}.
Bunny is actually heading home (to Brisbane) in an hour! Have a safe trip and take care dear! Hopefully I will be able to meet up with Amanda with Tezza again before she goes back to Perth!

Riding Hood

Sophie and I went shopping on Wednesday cos we were bored. There were so many new stores in Parramatta Westfields! Someone hasn't been shopping in a while == We spent quite a while browsing. And we bumped into a few people whilst shopping: Alice (Sophie's sister), and Amanda (fellow blogger)! You guys can go check out their blogs.

I think by now, many you know that I have a thing for light brown and white colored 'things'.

I don't know, I just like the 'clean and neutral' look. Like just plain and simple clothes, I often wear things that will allow me to blend well into the background lol. When I want to stand out, I'd wear things out of my comfort zone.

Sophie and I didn't really end up buying much. Like 3 items each eheh. I bought a white jumper, under garments, and a cape! The cape came in beige and navy. Luckily I bought the last beige one on the rack. Sigh, me and my love for neutral colors zzZ.

My 19th Birthday Bash!!!!

I'm getting into making videos now. I so stupidly started off recording my video vertically. ¬_¬

The day began at 10am. I was woken up by my daddy bursting into my room and shouting out "happy birthday!" I was all aggro and sleepy, but I knew I had to get up to meet Sophie and Jeno. We needed to go pick up the cake and buy some last minute things from Woolies. You know? *winks* After that, we got back to my place to prepare the food. We got really hungry, so we ordered pizza from Dominoes whilst waiting for the others to come.
When the rest of the crew came, the party began! Here are some of the photos of the night. Notice how some the lighting in some photos differ. I stole a few from those who uploaded them on facebook eheh. We were so wild!

Mangas from Madman
My uni friends and I ordered a bunch of manga from Madman last week (only cos it was on sale). Mangas were like from $2-5 a book. Which is crazy!!! My first set of manga costed me over $150. Whilst my second and third set costed about $70... TOGETHER!
Yesterday I spent the whole day, literally, reading manga. Anyway, I iz going shopping with Sophie now!

Do you ever get that feeling where you know something good is coming your way? Yeah, that's how I felt yesterday morning. I woke up and knew that the there will be mail for me. I walked out to the kitchen, and there on the table was mail addressed to moi.

It is time for a change!

I have stuck with the old banner for way too long. I've always wanted to make a new banner, because the old one wasn't even made by me. Just pretty looking pictures to fill the space above my posts. I finally decided to do something about it since I have a lot of time on my hands *cough* holidays. I hope you like the new look! The cat was modeled off Charlie (my neighbour's cat). Why cats? I have a thing for cats. I like cat printed clothes, and I've even cosplayed as a cat character twice to anime conventions. Funny thing is, I prefer dogs over cats!

Hoop earrings
I was looking at my earring collection, and noticed a pair of really old hoop earrings. They were bent and had discolored so... I bought myself another pair and threw out the old one. I wanted them to be big, but not huge! There I was on ebay, with a ruler to measure out how big the hoops will be. 3cm was too small so I settled on a pair of 6cm (in diameter) hoops!
Thing I like about hoops is that they look good when you have your hair down or up. I especially like how the hoops peek through when I've got my hair down.

When I tried them on yesterday, my ears went all red and it felt heavy on both sides of my head. My right ear was kinda blocked! I had to push the earring hard to get it through. That's what you get for not wearing earrings constantly!

Yesterday my uni mates and I went out for dinner. No photos cos I didn't bring my camera =.= Next time I will take photos and blog properly about the day hehe. After dinner and dessert, Delena and I went to Westfields cos we didn't feel like going home LOL! I bought a dress for Jackie's 19th (this Saturday). I call it the "emo" looking dress, cos it's red and black.

Now I am just stuck with deciding between wearing knee-hi socks or floral stockings...

Aussie blog friends!

Tam and her boyfriend came up to Sydney from Melbourne a few days ago, and she asked if me and Tezza wanted to hang out. I was like HELL YEAH! Initially we were meant to meet up on Saturday, but Tezza had work so we changed the meet up to Friday morning.

I got to the city and waited for Tezza obediently. Once again, I pulled off the "pretending-to-text-someone" move, to look like I'm busy. I was so bloody anxious! Full fidgeting and looking at every chick that passed with brown hair, thinking it was her. When she finally came, we hugged and my nerves just died down.
Off we went! - skips and hums - We're off to see the wizard. The wonderful wizard of Oz ♪ ♫ The wizard being Tam of course! When we got to Tam's hotel, Tezza and I decided to prank her. It failed so bad! Tezza posted up an entry on the day not too long ago. You might want to {click here} to read more about it, and the phone call hehe.
When we met up with Tam, we decided to go and eat. More like "I" proposed to eat, cos I was like dying from starvation! Full steam ahead to Pancakes on the Rocks!

See my crepe? It tasted really bad because there was a lot of carrots inside... And we autographed a napkin for Tam~Tezza and Tammie!!!

After eating, we went shopping! Window shopping more like lol. Tam didn't buy anything!
Tezza and I bought a shirt ¬ . ¬ That's okay! We can always shop another time.

Good Hair Day

GHD straightener
Right after I did my 10 things tag (link), my awesome Vidal Sassoon hair straightener died! Like literally a few days after doing the bloody post. When I said I couldn't live without my straightener, I really honestly meant it! So I was like handicapped for a while, and had to ask Sylvia if I could borrow her straightener until I was back on my feet. I was surprised she actually agreed to letting me use it, cos we totes hate sharing things!

After weeks of suffering, I decided to get a GHD straightener! I had to get the best of the best, because VS straighteners kept dying on me.

It came with a thermal heat spray ~Since it was from the UK, I had to get an adapter for it ¬_¬I took this yesterday after playing with my GHD xD

ANYWAY, my plan to stay away from facebook, twitter and blogspot kinda failed. I only haz 2 more assessments to go, so it's cool. One is an essay and the other is a picture book. Not too bad aye? Here's a sneak peek of how 1 of my characters look like.I was having trouble with naming her, so I asked my mom. And she said what sounded like "Brooke Millie". The name didn't sound too bad so I am using it in my story. Gonna goze nao! Best of luck to those studying for their end of semester exams!

Gossip Boy's birthday!

Last Saturday, my mates and I spent the night celebrating Ryan (it'sgossipboy)'s 19th birthday. On the FB events page, it said to meet at the station at 6:10pm sharp! So just before leaving, I tweeted something silly:

First stop Noritas! We had to burn some time because dinner was booked at 10pm ahaaa. Noritas is a place you can go to eat, drink and play board games. The last time I came, my friends and I played Cluedo and Tumblin Monkeys. ANYWAY!

We walked to Star bar after playing Pictionary, cos we had one more hour to go before dinner, and we didn't feel like playing anymore board games. Mary said that Star bar is a "sleazy" place, so I was a little uneasy. Turned out to be not so bad lol.

The people at Star bar started to move the tables and chairs aside to make a dance floor. We didn't hang around for too long. Because we had reservations at Mizuya! Dinner and Karaoke time! And what was the first thing I ordered off the menu? Takoyaki balls!!! Didn't take any photos of the food though...

After Mizuya, majority of the girls went to Vanity, and the rest went home. We were lazy to walk to the club, so we taxied it there. No photos, because my camera and phone was in my bag, which was in the cloak area. Hmm clubbing was alright. Besides meeting the biggest douche, I had fun with my girls. I tried to make this a quick post so that I can get back to my studies. Kinda failed cos it took me a while to post up the pictures and stuff.

P.S. That's the little black dress and floral stockings I was talking about in the last post. I tore a hole in the stockings while pulling them up! GRRRR!

Shopping alone...

My sister and I were talking about going shopping alone. I hardly ever shop alone, because well... It's depressing lol. Sylvia loves shopping alone, because she thinks that it's more fun and you get things done faster. Anyway! So yesterday I went to the orthodontist to get my braces tightened and all that jazz. After that I went shopping by myself, and it wasn't that bad. I just looked like a loner tapping on my phone. Gotta love the pretending-to-text move, when you're sitting alone in a coffee shop. I ended up buying a little black dress, two sweaters and floral stockings. I might wear the dress and stockings to Ryan's 19th tomorrow. Hopefully it wont be too cold! Here are the sweaters ~

Don't know why my dad was so generous, but the other day he gave both me and my sister an iPhone 4 each. Sylvia dropped her phone in water and it died. So yeah, BAM!!! Dad gives her a replacement and me an upgrade! (^ v ^) *polishes phone*

Delena and Jason planned a surprise birthday dinner for Jennifer (Sojjeje) on Thursday. We were meant to eat at Mounties, but noooooo! B*tch-of-a-security guard didn't let me in. Sorry guys!

So instead we went to eat at Fat Panda. I've never eaten there before, but ya the food was nice! I liked the takoyaki (octopus) balls the most hehe. Muzz come back for them balls!

Pink lenses and side fringe

Sorry I haven't been blogging a lot lately! I'm not super busy or anything, I just didn't know what to blog about. I've been home almost everyday doing jack. Holidays was good but uni is back, so I gotta get my game on ahaaa. - - - - - -

EOS G201 Max Pure Pink

Jennifer (Sojjeje) and I purchased lenses from Kiwiberry1's Collection. I bought a pair of pink and grey lenses. So far, I have only tried the pink pair. I wanted the G&G max pure pinks because the rim is brown instead of black, but they weren't available in plano (0.00 degree). EOS will have to do. Jen gave me thick azz lashes to try out. In photos they look pretty, but in reality, it looks like I have too much mascara on. Anyway, here's my lens review!

Color: The pink is very subtle. Too subtle! I wanted it to be more bright and noticeable. They look brown on my eyes. 7/10

Enlarging: These lenses are prettaye big. Well they are 14.5mm in diameter lol. 9/10

Comfort: Super dooper comfy! Sometimes I have to go to the toilet to check if they are still there, cos it feels like there is nothing on my eyes. 10/10

The lashes I wore in the photos. Dramatic indeed!

I wanted a straight side fringe, not diagonal, but straight! I came home from uni and yeah... Grabbed a pair of scissors and went off to work. It was like adrenaline rush! I just closed my eyes and snipped away.

Man I use to love watching Tom and Jerry. I'm happy that my mom decided to name me Gerry. Just it gets sad when people ask "where's Tom?". I just say something dumb like I ate him or he died. X Factor
I went to the X Factor audition with Ryan and Felix on Sunday to cheer em on. We went super early - 7am!!! When we got there, there was hardly any people waiting. Well maybe like 100? There were a few funny people singing out loud. One girl was singing behind a tree. We can't see you, but we can sure hear you hehe. And this other guy sang Lady Gaga's Bad Romance really enthusiastically! RAR RAR AH AH AH! GA GA OOO LA LA!

More online purchases came. I ordered this necklace a billion years ago. I pretty much gave up on it, cos I thought it wasn't going to come! I was wrong lol. Funny because I entered Mei's giveaway not too long ago, where a similar necklace is up for grabs!
Photos taken with the new cameraaa ~And two more Goosebump books to add to my collection. One is old and the other is brand new. I didn't even care that the book was tattered. I just wanted to read it! Anyway, I finished both books in a few hours. No more Goosebumps for a while, I'm going to build on my manga collection! Oh, money money money!!! ($___$)Churros!

On Saturday, my bored family friend (Karina) came over to make churrrrrros! I was seriously craving them! Luckily we didn't have to shop for ingredients cos we had everything. Haven't hung out one-on-one with the girl in ages, so it was nice catching up with her. Me and my fam friends are planning a sleepover and clubbing night out this Easter holiday. Can't freaking wait! Back to churros, you guys should try making some! It's butt easy (link to recipe). Here's how our churros turned out. Heh! I was full documenting every step.
P.S. Had a test at uni today. Full studied hard core for it, and it wasn't even hard! Oh well, at least I know for sure I passed lol.

NEW CAMERA!!!!

My Lumix is like super ancient. I got it in year 10... sooo it was time for a new camera! I was looking at the range of different Sony Cyber-shots, since Jennifer On told me that they're good. And yeaaa I ordered the Sony DSC-TX5B. Thanks for linking me Jen! I got this baby for $278AU, which is pretty cheap since it came with an 8gig memory card, extra battery and it was free for shipping. I took photos to compare the the two cameras.

The Cyber-shot obviously takes better quality photos. And it can record! Unlike my Lumix that takes phone quality photos. I spent the afternoon testing out the camera. Taking photos and recording videos. Thank you Jennifer for the Totoro! And thank you Delena for lifts this week! ♥

Geo CM-903 lenses (aka Tri Color Green)

Remember my lens review for mycandyeyes.com on the brown Eos G-208 lenses {here}? If you purchase any pair from the site and review it on your blog, you will be able to obtain a free pair of your choice. In other words... These babies were free!
I tend to stick to green and brown lenses because I think other colors will look fugs on me aha... Gotta stock up on different colors. Compared to my other green lenses, the Geo OL103, the difference is whoaaa!
Moving on! Here is my short review on these lenses.

Color: The color is awwwwesome! I thought the green would be jade-like on my eyes, but it's actually a lightish green. How wack is that?! Cos my eyes are demon black! 10/10

Enlarging: These lenses don't enlarge my eyes at all, which is fine by me. It's perfect for those who just want to change their eye color. 5/10

Comfort: My eyes dry out after a while. But other than that, they are super comfy! 910

Would I buy em in the future? Yes, because the color stands out eheh. I can definitely see myself wearing these lenses on a daily basis because they're so natural. Btw, I'm wearing the eye shadow Melody sent me in. Turns out it's not brown lol! It's maroon! Oh, and I chose these lenses because of QuestJen's review on them (which is way more detailed than mine!) I'm ending the post with a luvo *geeee weeee*

I spent all of yesterday morning sitting by the front, waiting for the postman to come. I was excited because I knew Melody's package was coming. First the "letter" man came, on his lil motor cycle, and shoved something into our letterbox. I waited for him to leave, and bolted out the front door to check if Mel's package was there. I came back into the house with bills and a letter from mycandyeyes.com (new green lenses!), but where was Mel's package?! *frown*

I figured it will come on Monday morn, since mail doesn't come on weekends. But then!!! A van came up our driveway and BOH YEAH! It was postman Pat (I call every postman "Pat"), with Mel's box of goodies! I was literally jumping with the box......

So generous! I was like \(* 0 *)/ when I opened the box.

Aw she ran out of room, so she wrote on an extra piece of paper! I love how the letter is deco'ed with cute onigiris! And the drawings in the letter made me laugh all goofy xDThe BNT giveaway belt I won a while back! I'm definitely going to wear it out/to uni!My eyes lit up when I saw the bento and chopsticks. I was tweeting Mel about bentos and how I wanted to bring one to uni, and she got me one! YAYAYAYA! Another item off the wish list!

Soft Lips gloss! It's pretty long lasting. I've had it on for a few hours now!I lurrrve brown eye shadow! It's the only color I'd use on my eyes, besides black!

I will do a review on the green lenses in my next post. This post is dedicated to Melody!!! She deserves the spotlight hehe. Thank you for talking to me when I needed someone most. It's nice to know that people out there cares. And Thank you soooo so much for this awesome gift bebe! You've always been such a sweet gal friend. I'm glad we are only a state away from each other. My uni friends and I ordered in bulk from G Market to make the most of combined shipping. And yeaaa our stuff was delivered in two big boxes yesterday to Jennifer's place. What is G Market? It's basically a Korean shop online where they sell everything! Lol G-Dragon even made a song to promote the site. G-Dragon - GMarket ♪ {video}. I wanted to buy from there earlier, but I don't know any Korean so... I mean even though there is some English, I'm like hell lost! Every icon on the site flashes like crazy and there is Korean every where! *scratches head*
Thankfully, Delena knows Korean! Our order came pretty fast! It took one week-ish. We were so excited to open up the boxes. But after opening em... it was like uhh... shit. Well most of the stuff was right! Just each of us had something wrong with our order. They got 3 out of 5 of my items right......zzZ

Wedding dress

I remember tweeting: "Gotta shop for a white dress. Somebardy's getting married!" Lol. Nah I aint getting married. Leave that til laterrr. Anyway!!! Today me and my mates are going to the I Heart Uni "White" party. Explains why I bought a white dress. Good thing I like the color, cos I'd hate it if it was an any-other-color party. Here's what I'll be wearing, I reckon it's very Tinkerbell-like cos of the frills (?). I snapped these photos earlier to see how I'd look like in the whole outfit. Doubt anyone will be taking photos tonight. We'll all be too busy having fun! I even bought white lacy gloves to go with the dress. Wheee ~

I wish my legs were more SNSD...The gloves have a lacy crest running down the middle. Kinda like a cockatoo? ahaa French tips and pearl studs to suit the White theme. Man I'm going hard out!!! xDAlso bought a floral wallet whilst shopping with Sophie. Ark can't get enough of floral printed sturf!

Gon head off soon. Not sure if I will be blogging about the event. But yaaaa, can't wait to see the other gals in their pretty white dresses! (or cream *cough* Jenny). We're going to bring the house down!!!! RARRR!

I have been reaaaalaye sick for the past few days. Why? Because me and my friends partied 2 days straight (Fri and Sat) just before uni started. So now I have a head ache, leaking nose, and a sore az throat. I can't go Mardi Gras this Saturday! *sad face*

Jansport backpack
All my online purchases are rolling in this week eheh. Here's my Jansport backpack! I wanted a plain white backpack to carry my load to uni. The messenger bag I have is dying and yeah kinda hurts my shoulder when I carry too much stuff. Why Jansport? My friend influenced me. And she was influenced by Bella Swan (she carries one to school in Twilight). And I got it because it is guaranteed for life. Highlight and bold LIFE!!!!

I've always wanted to try BB cream because everyone was raving about it. I checked out a few reviews before settling on the Missha BB in number 21. I WAS going to get number 23, but it looked dark in photos. Poor Tezza ><"

Lastly, Delena dyed my hair with that Palty hair dye that I bought a while back {link}. It's uneven, but I still like it. Thank god I didn't go orange or blond eeeek! I was so scared when I read Marie's blog post. Despite being sick. I still managed to luvo -___-

EOS G-208 lens review

As mentioned in my last post, I am back to review my new circle lenses from http://www.mycandyeyes.com/ !
Mycandyeyes' service was pretty good. I sent them emails to ask about the lenses and their promotion. And they replied to me a few hours later. Better than having to wait days for a response. Delivery/shipping didn't take too long. It took approximately 2 weeks (?) for them to arrive. Packaging was perfect! The lenses (and free case) came in an envelope lined with bubble wrapping. The sender and site information was all printed on the front of the envelope. Overall, delivery and customer service is good ~

Okay, here's my take on these lenses!Color: These lenses are noticeable in all lighting. Maybe it's because of the thick dark ring around the rim. They made my pitch black eyes instantly lighter. Love it! 9/10

Enlarging: Not too big, which is good. I don't want to look like an alien! They kind of remind me of my old lenses (the King Size Barbie lenses) just smaller. 9/10

Comfort: EOS lenses are known to be comfortable. So compared to my GEO lenses, these were way more comfy! They retain moisture really well. I don't even feel them on! 10/10

I haven't cam-whored in a while. So............

My sister and I went shopping yesterday cos we were bored and bothered. First store we visited was Superdry where Syls bought a pair of shorts. The guy serving us was soooo cute! He looked like a brunette version of Cam Gigandet! Anyway....

We spent 3-4 hours browsing shops on every level. Syls bought a jumper and a book - Howl's Moving Castle!!!! I'm going to borrow the book after she finishes reading eheh. Speaking of books, I'm starting to get back into Goosebumps. I've ordered two to add to my collection. So psyched to read em!
Here are my purchases:

Lecture book from Typo ($10) and charity bag lol.It's divided into 4 and the cover/back looks durable. No more shitty books that rip. Floral one piece from ESQ ($15)Lace up suede wedges from Spend-less ($50)

I told myself not to buy any more lace up shoes. But I seriously can't help it! I have lace up boots, heels, wedges and flats now :'O

I know I haven't blogged in a week. I was sick for a few days so I couldn't go anywhere, therefore there was nothing for me to blog about. I was getting bored of staying home, so when I felt better I decided to call my friends out. Ryes had work, so me and Sophie ended up going shopping. It felt like I haven't shopped in years! I was so groggy and unenthusiastic to browse. Or maybe it was just cos I was sleepy (hardly slept the night before zzz)...
Anddd here's what I bought:

Okay so I bought the dress because I loved the back detailing. I did say I have a thing for lace up stuff! I have a few other floral dresses, but so far this one is my favorite.

I've been looking at the Alexa Mulberry bag for a while now, so when I saw this I HAD to get it! Plus, it matches my raccoon tail. Thanks for finding me an orange tan colored one Sophie!
The shorts was sort of an impulse buy too. And my knee looks funky in the photo huh? @#$%
But that's just my bent left knee behind the right one.

I lurrrrrve these creamy woolen (?) socks!!!! I wanted to buy frilly socks to wear with my lace up heels, but these will do. I gotta buy more in in every color RARRR! *new mission*
So those were my offline purchases. One of my 'online' purchases came in the mail a few days ago.

I love my eyebrows, because they are already shaped. And they were the only thing that the moms use to comment on when I was little. "Oh Kim (my mom), did you pluck Gerry's eyebrows?"

2. Eyes

My eyes are super dark. Sometimes I think they are pitch black! I don't like the color, but I'm happy with the shape of my eyes. Hmm I think they are almond shaped. But then again, aint everyone almond?!3. Skin

I'm liking the tan now. It kinda glows! But no more tanning for me!!!!

4. Lips

For an Asian, I have reaaally full lips. I like them, but at the same time I hate them. I guess I'm good at pouting eheh! Oh and I have two moles above my lip (to the left). One is fainter than the other, so you'll probably only spot one :D

5. Hair

My hair is naturally brown, even before I've dyed it. It's kinda like a pipe cleaner. You know the fuzzy craft wires? I can curl, crimp, straighten and tease my hair with out needing hair spray to hold it together. Oh and I like it because it is longgg! bye bye clip on extensions!

6. Nails

My nails look fake sometimes. They are hard/tough, so I can grow them long without worrying about them breaking. And they are squared.. No they are not literally square shaped! -_-

I wish I am an hour glass, but I'm not and that's okay. I'm just lucky that I stay the same weight even though I don't exercise or eat healthy. I'm 164cm and 54kg ---normal I reckon.

For Australia day last Wednesday, my mates and I decided to hit beach. Bondi was pretty packed when we got there. We walked what felt like a mile to find a good spot. Funny how my sister and her friends went too, and I didn't know they set up camp a few meters away from us. This was the FIRST time I wore a bikini top out in the open. I felt sooo.... naked!
Anyway it wasn't too bad, because Sophie was exposed too (and the skinny dipping lady). I had heaps of fun that day. And I rarely enjoy myself at the beach because I don't swim - Gotta keep the hair pritty kays?

Bottom Lashes

I got my lashes in the mail a few days ago. Sounds funny aye? "I got my lashes in the mail". They come in two styles - criss cross and normal (?)
I've only tried the criss cross ones so far, and they're pretty alright.

Geo OL103 Green
The lenses I have been waiting for!!!! These are GEOS not NEOS, just incase you guys get mixed up with my previous post eheh. I ordered these lens in green and brown (again because it has been a year). My friends and I ordered lenses together - bulk order meant the lenses we're $7.50 each.

Gives a halo effect when I look from side to side. Oh and I am wearing the bottom lashes cant tell

Colour - Kinda dark but I like the green. It looks really jade-like on my eyes. 7/10
Enlarging - Just enough, I don't want it to be unnatural. 8/10
Comfort - Stung again! But it stopped after a while. All's good! 7/10

So with out flash, the color would probably be super dark green/black even. Oh, have you noticed that I smile more now? Yeah, ever since I got braces I like to grin and bear it :D
